Our mission
Diderik's Story
At 8 ½ years old, Diderik’s healthy, vibrant life was cut too short. Diderik became comatose after being diagnosed with Influenza A. After 1 week of hospitalization, Diderik’s family had to make the unimaginable decision to take him off of life support. No parent should ever have to walk through this.
Our mission is to be able to step into such a vulnerable, tender time in bereaved parents’ lives, assisting with family needs by filling in the gap of loss, brokenness and survival. We want to assist in creating a breathing space to process the unimaginable in a gap where time does not exist.

P4D stands for Playing For Diderik. It's the name behind our memorial fund and the events held in his honor, like the Diderik Peterson Memorial Golf Tournament. Every time we play, we play for Diderik.
